Shanghai Waterworks Shinan Co Ltd is responsible for providing safe and reliable water supply for close to 4 million people in Shanghai, China. It includes the largest clean water treatment plant in China, Changqiao Waterworks. To support Shinan’s decisions related to operation, maintenance, rehabilitation and extension of the water distribution network Shinan wants to increase their use of numerical modeling of their networks and to integrate the modeling with their IT infrastructure. After a thorough evaluation process of various solutions Shinan has contracted DHI China to carry out the following:
- Deliver MIKE URBAN software
- Set up and calibrate MIKE URBAN WD models for all of Shinan’s water distribution networks, including part of 2010 SHANGHAI EXPO area
- Deliver calibrated models
- Integrate MIKE URBAN with the client’s SDE database solution
- Integrate MIKE URBAN with the client’s SCADA system
